Tecnographisms from the hashtag #NotHim

Abstract

From the understanding of the techonographism as "a semiotic production associating text and image in a native composite of the Internet" (Paveau, 2017a, p 305), we will analyze in this article the mobilization of this composite dimension of forms in the Brazilian feminist movement #NotHim. The relationship between text and image is remarkable in the native productions of the Web, where the border between the two types of text is blurred. It is therefore up to linguists to try to understand how meaning is constructed in the cyberspace. Starting from a selection of a corpus that includes the mobilization of technographisms in the #NotHim movement, we intend to think especially about the process of textualization of the image and the iconisation of the text (Paveau, 2017a, 306) as a form of argumentation of the discourses of digital militancy, notably the feminist mouvement.
