Aims and Scope
Hexis. Revista Iberoamericana de Retórica is an open-access digital publication of the University of Alicante (UA), co-edited by the Department of Spanish Philology, General Linguistics and Theory of Literature of the UA and the Organización Iberoamericana de Retórica (OIR) and conceived with the main objective of encouraging scientific research and promoting theoretical and critical debate in the broad field of rhetorical studies carried out in Ibero-America in particular and internationally in general. In this sense, it welcomes scientific articles related to the study of rhetoric in its theoretical, practical and historical aspects, from its origins to the present day, in any cultural field and with projection to the fields of literature, linguistics, philology, philosophy, aesthetics, arts, psychology, law, argumentation, written, oral and multimedia communication, advertising, discourse analysis, cultural studies, education, politics, economics, etc.
The journal is aimed at academics, students, researchers and practitioners of rhetoric in any of its dimensions of study and practical application, as well as other disciplines (or arts, such as literature) naturally related to it.
