Abstract

This text includes a presentation and introduction on the content of this number 23 of "Anales de la Universidad de Alicante. Historia Medieval", with special attention to the theme that presides over this Special Issue. From a global approach, a balance is made around the different papers that make up it and the issues addressed by the authors and authors.
