The Chromebook electronic device, developed by Google, is one of the options chosen by educational institutions to undertake the digitalization of their classrooms. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the attitudes of both teachers and students towards this tool, the training available to them, and their perception of its impact on the teaching-learning process. This is a case study employing a non-experimental and cross-sectional methodology, utilizing two questionnaires as data collection instruments. The study sample includes 97 female students from 2nd year of ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education) to 1st year of Bachillerato (Upper Secondary Education), as well as 11 female teachers from a state-subsidized girls' school in A Coruña (Spain). The approach is mixed, combining a quantitative analysis with a Likert scale and a qualitative analysis to propose improvements in the educational center. The results indicate that both groups have a positive perception of the Chromebook, but they demand more training on its use. However, both groups prefer paper books. These perceptions generally align with the findings of similar research in the literature. It is recommended to reinforce training initiatives and establish clear guidelines on the use of these devices to optimize their utilization.
