Preservation Policy

1. Digital preservation
UOUsj uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. The journal’s LOOKSS publisher page is available at: https://revistes.ua.es/uou/gateway/lockss?year=2023
The journal uses persistent identifiers (DOI and ORCID).
In addition to usual procedures for creating multiple and versioned backup copies, the contents of the journal are replicated in the University of Alicante institutional repository (RUA), based on DSpace.

2. Interoperability protocol
